I Am Dedicated!

On Sunday Mommy & Daddy stood before the whole church (plus Grandma & Grandpa; Uncle Rex & Aunt Lynette; Cousins Keeley & Mason; Ma & Pa; and even Ms. Darcy, Justin & Holly!) and promised to raise me right - in a good Christian home.

I got my picture in the bulletin and everything! Mom made bookmarks with my picture on them, too to give people to thank them for coming - it was really cool and I paid close attention the whole time. I even wore the sweater that my Great-Grandma made for my Grandpa when he was a baby!

Then the family came back to my house to play with me - so mom had to feed them. It was a pretty cool day!

My Pillow Pal

Mom got me this great Pillow Pal - he is really soft and snuggly (lots of fun to ride, too). I am taking suggestions for names!

I Can Do It!

Mom let dad feed me the other night - he did ok. I had to give him lots of guidance.

Mom is trying, but she can't quite get the rythym, either! I am trying to convince them to let me do it myself! By the way, sweet potatoes rock!

Happy Birthday, Holly

My friend, Holly turned two last week and this weekend she had a big party. There was a waterslide and a pool.

I just got to watch, but I concentrated really hard so that when it is my turn I will already know how to play!

Holly got lots of cool presents, even a tricycle - I will be 5 months old in a couple of weeks and I am holding out for a tricycle, too!

4-H is Fun

I spent last week working with Mommy. We went to Roswell and stayed with Uncle Shawn during the SE District contest. My job was to look after Grandma - it was hardwork, but she paid me in kisses and i made out like a bandit!

My Laundry

For some reason mom thinks I go through alot of clothes - but people keep giving me clothes, so obviously you need lots of them. This is only about a week's worth of laundry, and there was still a load in the dryer.

I am not sure what the fuss is all about - mostly I like to run around without a shirt on anyway!

Happy Father's Day

Father's Day was great - I got to see my Grandpa, Great Pa and lots of cousins! We went up to Cloudcroft and ate, played and slept (honestly, I don't see how this is different than every other day, but oh, well!)

I made my daddy a special puzzle at daycare with my foot prints and my picture on it, then me and Grandpa (mostly Grandpa) made him a new saddle rack. I got Grandpa some shirts that were color coded to match the food he eats - that way if he spills it won't show - I even got a special one for baby spit. I wish we could have been with my Papa in Oklahoma, too!

VBS Graduate

After a long week of attending Bible School faithfully (except for Thursday when I was sick) I recieved a certificate for all my hardwork.

It looked pretty tasty, but mom took it way before I got a good bite - maybe I can eat my next certificate.

Being Sick Stinks!

This last week I caught a little stomach bug. I tried to look at this as an opportunity to train my parents, but in the end it wasn't much fun for me either. On the upside - I discovered Pedialyte and I LOVE PEDIALYTE!

4 Months Old!

I turned four months old yesterday! Today I went for my well check and I weigh 12 lbs 4 oz. I am 24 1/2 inches long and counting! The good news is all my toes are still there - the bad news is they gave me shots - for the most part I took it pretty well, but I think I will milk the sympathy for all it is worth!

I have been attending Bible School all week with mom. I even took towels for our community service project! They keep saying I am the youngest one at VBS but I don't see how that is possible, after all, I am 4 months old!

Life is Getting Good!

Real food - well sort of! Saturday I got to sit up in my big boy highchair and try some cereal -

mom even added in a few prunes. It wasn't quite as good as whipcream, but not bad!

And Even More Cousins!

This week I met my cousin Deana and her sons Kristian and Kyle. Kyle even held me at dinner.

I think my favorite part was Aunt Lynette giving me kisses!

To Grandma's House We Go!

Mom took me to Grandma & Grandpa's to meet Dad - he was travelling for work. We had lots of fun. I even got to play with Grandma's doggy, Skye...
...and make friends with Grandpa's horse, Pete!

New Toys!

I am such a big boy! I weigh 12 lbs 2 oz now! I have figured out how to grab my feet and I love to pull off my socks and count my toes! I have ten little piggies down there!

Cousin Jasper gave me his Jumperoo and I LOVE IT! I have to stand on a book to make it bounce, but that is ok by me (it's daddy's book!) I also got a fun playmat with fish that play music and a mirror with another baby in it - he and I are pretty good friends!
