We had a great Fathers’ Day in Carlsbad. Uncle Shawn came over to see us, too.
Me and Daddy put our heads together over and ice cream cake.
Then, I helped Grandpa and Daddy open their presents.
I was mostly interested in the bubble wrap, but I think they both know I love them and hope they had a Happy Fathers’ Day!

Grandma had a new Mickey towel for our bath time – it is just my size!
I spent some time teaching Grandpa how to use the computer – this older generation!
Teddy and I took over Grandma’s little table and chairs to have our own tea party – it was milk, but Mama did let me have some cookies with it. The chair was just right but I had to be sure Teddy was in his before I could sit down.
It is always interesting at Grandma and Grandpa’s House!
We hung out at the cabins - me and Grandpa like nappin'.
Ma and Pa even came over and spent the day with us. I let Pa borrow my hat.
Grandma and Grandpa took me to Lincoln to go to the museum and learn all about Billy the Kid!
At the 4-H BBQ I let Ms. Shannon chase me and it was big fun!
I hope to go back to the mountains again soon – it was much cooler there!
I helped wrap the gifts so they would be extra special. Shhh – it’s a surprise!

I love the water. I didn’t want to get out. I even got to drink juice from the bottle like the big kids!
After the pool closed we had cupcakes on the grass. Boy, were they good! I hope Holly has another birthday soon!!
Me and Ms. Yvette spent time hopping around.
On Friday night I graduated and went down front all by myself to get my certificate.
Then me and Daddy helped Mama undecorate her craft room.
I love VBS – all the kids talk to me and I get to play lots!!
I suppose it is kind of cute in a weird way - I liked watching it on the TV screen anyway. Here he/she is waving hello to me.
Tomorrow I will have some photos of me playing in the pool, I am sure those will be much more interesting and colorful!
I liked driving the booster chair, but not sitting in it.
Luckily Ms. Mary didn’t mind chasing me around the shop to cut my hair. At first I didn’t like it at all. I wouldn’t even take the strawberry malt Mama got me.
As we went on, with Mama and Grandma’s help, I decided it wasn’t so bad (with a little strawberry incentive followed by shooting people with the water bottle and talking on Grandma’s cell phone).
My hair was finally cut. I look quite dashing if I say so myself. Thank you, Ms. Mary!
They even set up a little pool for me to play in. Uncle Shawn came for dinner and we played and played, he is teaching me more sign language, but Mama says not to use it at Ms. Darcy’s.
Too bad Mama forgot my swimming suit – not that that stopped me!
I had a great time. Grandpa taught me to play the harmonica.
Grandma let me help in the kitchen making French Toast for breakfast and doing the dishes.
On Sunday morning we went to church with Ma & Pa and I got to sing in the choir with Grandma up in front of everybody!
I was very disappointed when we got home and it was just me and Mama again. But I was glad to see Nolie and Oscar and the baby horse.
